Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th, 1962. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that She joined the Bratpack group and appeared on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is both an actress as well as an writer. She started her career in acting with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. In the film, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. She appeared as a character in The Breakfast Club in 1985 which was a comedic drama following her initial fame. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. Although the film's budget was $1 million it has made more than $50 million. In the meantime, she was also appearing in various TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. The show was targeted at teens which began in April of 1980. Other shows on TV she was in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero with Sheedy as a small cameo. Her incredible performances have earned many awards including an MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
