Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian-born singer who was born on November 21, 1985, in the Mission area of British Columbia. Carly Rae JEPSEN began playing the piano at an early age, and she was performing in local talent shows by high school. After she graduated high school in 2007, she enrolled in the Canadian College of Performing Arts was her next stop. The year 2007 was the year she auditioned to be a part of the fifth series on Canadian Idol and made it to the Top 3. The following year, she debuted her debut album Tug of War in 2008. Album peaked at 6th on Canadian Albums chart. Her second album Kiss was released in 2012. This produced Call Me Maybe, a popular song. The song was a worldwide success, topping the charts across more than 18 countries. More than 15 million albums were sold. She has since had three more albums out and received multiple awards, including two Grammy nods. Carly Rae Jepsen earned considerable money through her career as a musician. She is estimated to have a value of 15 million dollars and earns an average of $5 million each year from music tours as well as endorsements.
